Q: Can I hit full-swing iron and wood shots directly off the MoneyPutt™ Turf?
We do not recommend hitting full-swing iron shots directly off the MoneyPutt™ turf. While it is incredibly durable and designed for heavy foot traffic, it is engineered to be the ultimate putting and landing surface. For full swings, we highly recommend a Dual-Mat Setup: place a specialized hitting mat (like our Turnkey Pro-Turf™ Hitting Mat) directly on top of the MoneyPutt™ turf. This gives you a seamless, true-rolling putting green across your entire room paired with a dedicated zone built to handle heavy iron abuse.

Q: How fast does the putting green roll?
A: MoneyPutt™ turf features a Stimp meter rating between 9 and 10, delivering a realistic, true-rolling feedback experience that mimics a premium country club tournament green.

Most residential golf simulator turfs use a thin 1/4” pile height and lightweight foam backing that crushes easily under continuous foot traffic. Q: What are the available dimensions?
Every MoneyPutt™ turf roll comes in a fixed width of 15 feet to provide seamless coverage for standard simulator builds without awkward joints. You can choose any standard length from 10 feet to 20 feet (with a 10-foot minimum order).

Q: Can I get a custom length for a specific room size?

Installation Process & Recommendations

Because MoneyPutt™ turf features a heavy, premium dual-layer rubber backing, it is designed to lay flat naturally under its own weight. No messy glue or permanent double-sided tape is required. Follow these steps and recommendations for a professional-grade installation:

Step 1: Subfloor Preparation

Ensure your concrete, wood, or tile subfloor is completely clean, dry, and free of debris. Any small rocks or major imperfections in the subfloor can telegraph through the turf over time.

Step 2: The Underlayment Upgrade (Highly Recommended)

Pro-Tip for a Flawless Finish: To achieve an absolutely elite, flat finish and premium shock absorption, we highly recommend installing 1” EVA foam interlocking tiles across your floor before rolling out the turf.

• Why do this? The 1” foam underlayment levels out your entire floor, creates a plush, premium feel underfoot, absorbs sound, and perfectly matches the height of most commercial hitting mats so your entire simulator floor is completely flush.

Step 3: Rolling Out the Turf

• Roll out the MoneyPutt™ turf over your subfloor (or over your EVA foam tiles).
• Let the turf sit flat in the room for 24 to 48 hours before final trimming. This allows the fibers and rubber backing to acclimate to your room’s temperature and relax from being tightly rolled.

Step 4: Precision Trimming

• If you need to trim the turf to fit your walls or enclosure tightly, use a heavy-duty utility knife with a fresh blade.
• Always trim from the backing side whenever possible for the cleanest cut, or use a straight-edge tool against the wall to guide your knife smoothly along the perimeter.

Step 5: Place Your Hitting Mat

Position your Turnkey Pro-Turf™ hitting mat right on top of your newly laid putting surface. Because of the heavy non-slip rubber backing on both products, your hitting zone will stay firmly in place without shifting during full swings.

Replacements & Damaged on Arrival (DOA)

Turnkey Pro Studios MoneyPutt™ Turf is only eligible for replacement if it is damaged during transit or found to be defective upon arrival.

• If damaged during transit: Please refuse the shipment upon delivery and contact us directly at sales@turnkeyprostudios.com or via call/text at 402-577-0167.
• If found defective: Defective items must be photographed and emailed to us within 14 days of receiving the product. Due to logistical constraints, we cannot make exceptions to this 14-day policy.

Return Policy

Due to the specialized logistical handling and complex transit requirements associated with this product, it is considered a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We appreciate your understanding as we maintain these strict handling protocols to ensure the product arrives safely to your door.
