The LM1, as a portable, mini launch monitor will show you ball speed, clubhead speed, smash factor, carry distance and total distance. Spin is not displayed on the LM1.
No, you don't need a smartphone or tablet to view your data whilst on the range or using the LM1. However, all of your session history can be viewed post-session within the FREE Shot Scope app.
You will see your data in real-time via the 3.5" color display on the LM1 unit. You can also view your lifetime session history within the Shot Scope app.
Simulation & Indoor Setup
Q: Does the Shot Scope LM1 support golf simulation software?
A: No. The LM1 does not connect to third-party simulation platforms (like GSPro or E6 Connect). It does not feature virtual courses, multiplayer gameplay, or a visual map of a ball flying down a digital fairway.
Q: Can I use it indoors into a practice net?
A: Yes, absolutely. It is an excellent indoor training tool. If you hit balls into a net or impact sheet in your garage, basement, or home studio, the LM1 will capture your data instantly.
Q: How much indoor space do I need?
A: You need a room with 13 to 15 feet of total depth:
- Behind the ball: The LM1 sits exactly 5 feet behind your hitting mat.
- In front of the ball: You need 8 to 10 feet of open space for the ball to fly before hitting your net.
Q: Does it track hooks, slices, and ball curvature?
A: No. The LM1 measures straight-line performance metrics. It does not track lateral launch angles or spin axis, meaning it will not display horizontal shot shape (shapes of hooks/slices) on the app.
Q: Do I need special golf balls or club stickers?
A: No. The LM1 works with any standard golf ball and any club right out of the box.
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: Up to 5 hours on a single charge, and it recharges quickly using the included USB-C cable.

- Warranty length: This product is covered by a 2-year warranty against factory defects or mechanical failure after the first 30 days of ownership.

- Where we ship: We only ship to the lower 48 states of the United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, or international addresses.

- When it leaves our warehouse: Your reserved order will ship from our warehouse on August 24, 2026.
- Delivery time: After your order ships on August 24th, it will take 3 to 7 business days to arrive at your address.
Return Rules Within 30 Days
- Return window: If you are not satisfied with your launch monitor, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund.
- Item condition: The item must be returned in its original packaging with all original labels attached.
