How big does my enclosure need to be?

For optimal safety and swing clearance, a height of 9ft or more is recommended. If your ceiling is lower, enclosures measuring 8ft or less can work, though you may be limited on longer club swings. We can customize your bay to any height, width, or depth to fit your exact space.

How much space do I need around or behind my bay?

What is recommended for the 12' and 16' Widescreen models?

On enclosure widths greater than 12 feet, standard framing poles can sag under the weight of the fabric, causing screens to sink by up to 4 inches. To prevent this, we highly recommend upgrading to our Sky Holder™ Span with Strut, available directly within our Frameworks options. It replaces the standard top tubing with a rigid, industrial-grade rail that eliminates sagging, guaranteeing a perfectly flat, cinema-grade 4K hitting surface.

Projectors & Aspect Ratios

What is Aspect Ratio and how does it affect my space?

Aspect Ratio is the proportional relationship between the width and height of your projected image:

• 4:3 Ratio: Creates a rectangle that is 25% wider than it is tall (Height x 1.25 = Width).
• 16:9 Ratio: Creates a widescreen rectangle that is 78% wider than it is tall (Height x 1.78 = Width).
• 1:1 Ratio: Results in a perfectly square image.

For the sharpest visual quality, we recommend matching your enclosure size to the native aspect ratio of your projector (typically 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10).

How far away from the screen should my projector be?

This depends on your projector's "throw ratio" (distance divided by image width). We highly recommend short-throw projectors with a 0.5 to 0.7 throw ratio. This places the projector close to the screen (e.g., a 10ft wide image from 5–7 feet away), ensuring the golfer never casts a shadow on the screen.

Space Requirements.

• Ceiling Height: Your practice space should have a ceiling height between 9.2 and 10.2 feet to allow for a safe, unrestricted swing.
• Distance to Screen: A minimum of 2 yards (6 feet) is required between the hitting position and the impact screen or net
• Placement: Position the monitor 15.75" (40 cm) away from the center of the hitting zone.

What is covered under the warranty policy?

Your Consumer Warranty guarantees replacement in the event of product defect related to materials or craftmanship.

The warranty does not cover impact or cosmetic damages, damage by misuse, improper installation or testing, attempts to modify the product, attempted service (exceptions for battery replacement), or general wear and tear over the lifetime of the device, as well as any damages caused by spills, liquids, fires, power changes or other hazards outside of normal operation or use with 3rd party peripherals.

Returns of golf simulator products and accessories manufactured by TurnKey Pro Studios (including Guardian, Wedge, and InstaBay series) must be pre-approved, and the items must be received by our fulfillment center within 14 days of delivery to you. Please contact us for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before returning any item.

Our Guarantee: We guarantee that we will deliver what we promise, and we will always accept responsibility for production or manufacturing errors. However, due to the wide variety of installation methods, physical environments, and skill levels of our many customers, we cannot offer a warranty on our golf simulator screens, fabrics, bays, wall panels, nets, and systems. Most of our customers enjoy our products for many years, and we expect that you will too!

Condition of Returns: All returned items must include the original factory shipping materials, boxes, and accessories. All products, packaging, and accessories must be in 100% like-new condition, including the original packaging, or we will not accept the return.

Restocking & Shipping Fees: We charge a 25% restocking fee on all returned items and we do not refund the cost of shipping the items to you. This includes products listed with "Free Shipping": we will reduce all refunds by the actual cost of our outbound shipping.
